If the photograph is old, frayed around the
edges or is a precious one of a kind photograph of a deceased loved one,
it is recommended that you use one of the following methods for sending
John your photograph:

Have a negative made of the photograph. Have a print made from the negative.
Mail the print to John to use for drawing your charcoal portrait.

Copies of photographs, produced by a color laser copier, are acceptable.
Just make sure the copies are clear as possible before mailing it to John.
However, photographs produced using digital cameras are not acceptable.

You can E-mail
John your photograph. If you have access to a scanner, you can scan
your photograph using the best D.P.I. (DOTS
PER INCH) setting possible on the scanner.
Once you have scanned the photograph, you can send it to John by E-mail.
Make sure the photograph is clear as possible after the scanning before
you E-mail it
to John.

Each charcoal portrait
is drawn on 80 lb acid free paper. The charcoal will not rub off or smear.
Upon request, when the charcoal portrait is completed, John will E-mail
you a sample image of the charcoal portrait. If for any reason you are
not pleased with your charcoal portrait, you are not required to purchase
it. If you do purchase your charcoal portrait and decide you do not want
to keep it during the first 30 days from the date you receive it, you may
return it for a full refund, excluding S&H. However, the charcoal
portrait must be in excellent condition when received by The Must Seay
Portrait Studio. The Must Seay
Portrait Studio cannot be held responsible for damages done to the portrait
during S&H back to the studio. All photographs will be returned whether
or not you decide to purchase a charcoal portrait.
